Access Log Manager
Find out more on the Access Log Manager and also the information you will have inside.
An access log includes a record of all files which have been requested by the visitors while browsing your Internet site. The list is comprehensive, so when you have a web page with two embedded images, for instance, all of the three files shall be in the log, not only the page. An access log typically features the date, the OS, the web browser and the IP address for every file in human-readable form, so you can get a more complete picture about the hottest files on your Internet site. The log, that's also commonly named "raw data", is an addition to the web data you typically get with a hosting account, not an alternative. An example why you may require such a log is if you intend to use some software on your PC to prepare a report about the website’s functionality, but you do not want to use the typical graphs and tables that come with the server-generated site stats.

Access Log Manager in Cloud Web Hosting
If you obtain a
cloud web hosting from us, you shall be able to determine if access logs must be produced and for which domains or subdomains in your account this should be done. You may enable this function from the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with all shared accounts. Each
domain you host or subdomain you set up will be listed there and you see an On/Off option next to each of them, so you can effortlessly trigger or disable the generation of access logs independently for every site that you have. You could save a log to your laptop or computer by clicking on the Download link that you will see inside the same section of the Control Panel. The link shall be available even if you disable the log generation, so you shall still have access to the data gathered by our system.

Access Log Manager in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Our advanced website hosting platform shall generate access logs for any Internet site hosted in a
semi-dedicated server account, provided that this feature is activated. All domains and subdomains that you have will be listed in the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia CP, that we provide with all the accounts, so if you need our system to start generating logs for any of them, you should simply click on the little button on the right side of the respective domain/subdomain and switch the default Off option to On. You'll be able to deactivate this feature at any time by following the exact same steps. You'll find a Download link for each and every log within the exact same section of the CP, so you can save the content gathered by our system in .txt format with no more than a click. An existing log file can be downloaded even after the feature has been disabled, so you will still be able to view the data that's already been generated.
