No Data Corruption & Data Integrity
What exactly does the 'No Data Corruption & Data Integrity' slogan mean to every Internet hosting account owner?
Data corruption is the unintentional change of a file or the loss of information that often occurs during reading or writing. The reason can be hardware or software failure, and consequently, a file may become partially or entirely corrupted, so it will no longer function properly because its bits shall be scrambled or missing. An image file, for instance, will no longer display an accurate image, but a random mix of colors, an archive will be impossible to unpack for the reason that its content will be unreadable, etcetera. In the event that this kind of an issue occurs and it isn't recognized by the system or by an administrator, the data will be corrupted silently and when this happens on a disk drive that's a part of a RAID array where the information is synced between different drives, the corrupted file will be duplicated on all other drives and the harm will be permanent. A number of widespread file systems either don't have real-time checks or don't have high quality ones which can detect a problem before the damage is done, so silent data corruption is a rather common problem on internet hosting servers where substantial amounts of data are stored.

No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Cloud Web Hosting
We have tackled the issue of silent data corruption on all our
cloud web hosting servers by using the state-of-the-art Z file system, or ZFS. The latter is better than other file systems because it is the only one on the market which checks all files in real time by employing a checksum - a digital identifier which is unique for each file. When you upload content to your account, it'll be stored on several NVMe drives and frequently synced between them for redundancy. ZFS regularly examines the checksum of all files and if any file is detected as damaged, it is replaced promptly with a good copy from another disk. As this happens in real time, there is no risk that a bad file may remain or may be copied on the remaining NVMes. ZFS requires lots of physical memory to carry out the real-time checks and the benefit of our cloud hosting platform is that we employ multiple powerful servers working together. If you host your sites with us, your information will be intact no matter what.

No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Hosting
We've avoided any probability of files getting corrupted silently since the servers where your
semi-dedicated hosting account will be created work with a powerful file system named ZFS. Its key advantage over other file systems is that it uses a unique checksum for each and every file - a digital fingerprint that's checked in real time. Since we keep all content on multiple NVMe drives, ZFS checks whether the fingerprint of a file on one drive corresponds to the one on the other drives and the one it has saved. In case there is a mismatch, the corrupted copy is replaced with a good one from one of the other drives and since this happens instantly, there is no chance that a corrupted copy could remain on our web servers or that it could be duplicated to the other hard drives in the RAID. None of the other file systems include this type of checks and what's more, even during a file system check following an unexpected power failure, none of them will detect silently corrupted files. In contrast, ZFS won't crash after a power loss and the constant checksum monitoring makes a lenghty file system check obsolete.
